Self-guided, supported, point-to-point road cycling tour, ~440 km over 6 days or 240 km over 4 days. The 6 day trip has over 4700m of amazing climbs and the descents that accompany them! Drive to Haliburton and park your car at Bonnie View Inn, and then we shuttle you to Huntsville in the Muskoka region. Muskoka is one of Canada's most famous holiday and cottaging destinations. You will have two days of excellent cycling here with loops of Vernon Lake and Lake of Bays. On Day 3 you cycle to beautiful Bracebridge via Mary Lake, and then on Day 4 to spectacular Haliburton Highlands.  If you are on the 4 day trip, you are reunited with your car after covering a lot of ground in some of Ontario's most beautiful vacationland. If you are on the 6 day trip, enjoy 2 more days of riding alongside Haliburton's quiet lakes and rivers.

DAY 1

Shuttle to Huntsville, Lake Vernon Loop 

Drive to Bonnie View Inn and park your car, and then enjoy a stress-free shuttle to Huntsville to start your cycling. Cycle the Vernon Lake Loop.  Enjoy the first of two nights of lakeside accommodation, Hidden Valley Resort,

Distance:  55 km (35 miles)
Vertical gain:  365 m (1197 feet)

DAY 2

Lake of Bays Loop 

Starting from Hidden Valley Resort, you will ride the well-known Lake of Bays loop. Versions of this rolling route are used for the Spin the Lakes ride and the Muskoka Half Ironman. The scenery is spectacular, including lake views, rock cuts, and towering forests.

Distance:  96 km (60 miles)
Vertical gain:  1200 m (3937 feet)

DAY 3

Huntsville to Bracebridge

 Depart Hidden Valley Resort and cycle to Bracebridge, Inn at the Falls, via Mary Lake. Rolling hills and spectacular scenery today, and then a chance to enjoy happening downtown Bracebridge.

Distance:  55  km (34 miles)
Vertical Gain:  623 m (2043 feet)

DAY 4

Bracebridge to Haliburton

Today's ride takes you from Bracebridge in Muskoka to Bonnie View Inn in Haliburton on a route with some good climbs and some exhilerating descents. If you are on the 4-day trip, you are reunited with your car and can return home with about 280km covered. If you are on the 6 day, you start your 2 delightful nights at Bonnie View Inn.

Distance:  75 km (46 miles)
Vertical Gain:  850 m (2788 feet)

DAY 5

Minden Sunglasses Route

This ride takes you along the shores of Lake Kashagawigamog, past the Minden White Water Preserve, and through Minden village. Have a wee break, then back home to Bonnie View.

Distance:  69 km (42 miles)
Vertical Gain:  585 m (1919 feet)

DAY 6

Hilly Haliburton Loop

So many choices! We have a lovely 95 km route with 1100m of climbing planned, but if you want to take it easy, we have a couple of easier loops prepared, or you can choose to enjoy the waterfront at Bonnie View or sightseeing in the region instead. It's up to you!
