Guided, supported road cycling tour, 6 days along Lake Huron and Georgian Bay, including sections of the Great Lakes Waterfront Trail. Meet in Collingwood, and then shuttle to Kincardine to start the tour. The first few days focus on Lake Huron, with its spectacular beaches, historic lighthouses, and vibrant villages. Stops include Point Clark, Kincardine, Port Elgin, and Southampton. Spend two days on the Bruce Peninsula, where Georgian Bay awaits under the white cliffs of the Niagara Escarpment. Finish up the trip with more Georgian Bay through Wiarton, Owen Sound, Meaford and The Blue Mountains before finishing up in Collingwood.

Kincardine to Point Clark

Day 1 starts with a transfer to Kincardine where we make sure bikes are in working order before riding the scenic Lake Huron shore to Point Clark and back. Accommodation is the delightful Inn at the Harbour .

Kincardine to Port Elgin

A (mostly) point to point along the Lake Huron shoreline to Port Elgin. Sights along the way include Stoney Island Conservation area, Inverhuron Provincial Park, Bruce power, and many lovely small towns and quiet roads along the way. Tonight the group stays at the beachside Paradise Inn.

Port Elgin to Lion's Head

Another point to point ride today. Start by heading north along Lake Huron's shoreline towards Sauble Beach, Oliphant, and Pike Bay. Guests then cut across the Bruce Peninsula to Lion's Head and Georgian Bay to check in at the Lion's Head Beach Motel

North Peninsula

Starting out in Lion's Head, cycle north to explore some of the Bruce Peninsula's most rugged scenery. For those interested in seeing some of the more remote sites, some optional short hikes are offered.

Lion's Head to Owen Sound

Say goodbye to Lion's Head Beach and starting heading back south towards Owen Sound, via Hope Bay, the Spirit Rock Conversation Area, and Wiarton. Last day on the Peninsula, so enjoy the intriguing cliffs, geographical formations, and turquoise waters. Spend the night in the wonderful Best Western on the Bay in Owen Sound.

Owen Sound to Collingwood

More exploration of the Niagara Escarpment and the shores of Georgian Bay as you head east towards Collingwood. Some rolling hills for the first part of the day, and then a gentle ride through Meaford, Thornbury and into the Blue Mountains on the Georgian Trail. We say our goodbyes in Collingwood, unless anyone wants to make it a double and join us on the Georgian Bay -Muskoka Tour 🙂
